Westlake Singers (WS) is one of four auditioned ensembles at Westlake High School which meet during the normal school day.  Westlake Singers are mostly comprised of sophomores and juniors.  Most members have had at least one semester of choir in the Westlake High School Choir Department and have proven to have the desire to grow and develop as a choral musician.  This group is designed to meet the needs of the singer who is serious about performing, and wants to work towards membership in Women’s Chorale, Vocal Ensemble, and A Class Act.  This ensemble performs a wide variety of choral literature selected to develop their voices as well as challenge their musical abilities.  Genres include classical, jazz, pop, and show choir. Members must be truly committed to acting and performing at a professional level.
