Women’s Chorale (WC) is one of four auditioned ensembles at Westlake High School which meet during the normal school day.  Women’s Chorale is a performing ensemble of approximately 32 singers and is composed of sophomores, juniors, and seniors.  Most members have had at least one semester of choir in the Westlake High School Choir Department and have proven to have above average musical skills, commitment, and work ethic.  This group is designed to meet the needs of the more mature singer who is serious about performing.  This ensemble performs a wide variety of choral literature selected to develop their voices as well as challenge their musical abilities.  Genres include classical, jazz, pop, and show choir.  Members must be truly committed to acting and performing at a professional level.
